Encapsulated steel rim maintains bowl shape and adds stability; rings in the bowl create a beautiful spiral pattern. Ideal for sourdough, rustic artisan bread, country-style rounds, no-knead doughs, and crusty hearth breads that can be transferred to a baking stone, pan, or baked directly in the bowl. Won't degrade, splinter, or trap flour or dough like wicker baskets.
